Trevett Allen is an artist, educator, and author. He is the founder of ApoKrino, a human-first AI ideation studio and sketchbook for artists, and the author of The Boy Who Learned to Look, first in the Young Artist Inspirations picture book series. He lives and works in Spain.
Long bio
Trevett Allen is an artist, educator, and author whose work explores attention, creative agency, and how people learn to see. Over 25+ years of teaching — including work with the Smithsonian — he has helped young artists earn places at schools including RISD, SAIC, Ringling, UPenn, Stanford, SF Art Institute, and Illinois Wesleyan. He is the founder of ApoKrino, a human-first AI ideation studio and sketchbook for artists. His picture book, The Boy Who Learned to Look, is the first in the Young Artist Inspirations series, which pairs stories from art history with the habits of seeing that make artists. He writes Notes on the Living Arts on Substack and lives and works in Spain.
